Core Values Award

The core values award has been an important part of our community for some time now. Every week we choose someone who has been exemplifying the 4 core values of our school: leading, learning, contributing and exploring.

What is Learning? 

Learning is doing your assignments as best as you can. Always trying to learn from your mistakes and even though you might fail you never give up and you keep trying until you reach your goal.

Example: Accepting feedback, talking to teachers for extra help, Share ideas in discussions

What is Leading?

Someone who initiates positive change in the community or sets challenging goals for themselves and others. 

Example: meeting deadlines, accepting responsibility, Setting challenges 

What is Exploring?

Exploring is someone who always seeks out new ideas and is willing to try new things. Someone who isn’t afraid to take risks and gets ideas from other sources. 

Example: Takes necessary risks, Participates in activities, Willing to try new things

What is Contributing?

Someone who contributes to the classroom culture that respects all learning and working styles. 

Example: Treating others and yourself with respect, volunteer and work actively
