Ms. Nelson’s crew, the self proclaimed “best crew of all of them.” Winning awards, like the golden plunger, have led to an unbreakable bond. There are a variety of ways where they express a welcoming community despite being shy, or being complete opposites to one another. Each person plays a role in their crew and today we present to you Ms. Nelson’s crew.
The crew’s bond is really strong. Especially because of the camping trip they got time to spend with each other. Some classes helped them to bond with each other. When we asked them “If you had a chance to change crews what crew would you go to,” all the students said, “We don’t want to change crews we love our crew members and crew teacher.”
The students in the crew all share a really strong bond going as far as to hang out between classes and after school. They also share a lot of inside jokes so they are connected by humor. This shows the bond they have and how open they are with each other. The crew is always laughing; even if they don’t get through the lesson, they are having a great time regardless.
Nelson’s crew is infamous among 9th grade teachers. No matter who you ask, Nelson’s crew is known for being connected and witty, always having a good time and affectionately bugging their teachers. Ms. Nelson takes pride in being a crew leader as crew is one of her favorite parts of teaching at Leaders and this is her first crew in 3 years. She deeply loves her crew and is regarded as the best crew leader ever by her students.
