Today we will be interviewing a freshman, Josephina G. in Leaders High School about her Badminton Games.
Are your games going well?
Kind of because I feel like we still need to practice more, we haven’t won any
games.
Do you like your team?
Yes, I love them; they are like siblings.
Do you like your coach?
I love her.
What is most challenging while playing?
Probably serving, the underhand serving instead of the upper hand because I’m used to the upper hand.
Are you and your team able to communicate easily?
Sometimes but not in games.
What do you think of the other teams?
Some of them are really good, some of them need to work on passes.
Are you proud of your performances in these games?
I only played once this entire season. I’m kinda proud but I should’ve done better.
What do you think you can improve on?
I think I could improve on making it into games and making myself better, so I can participate in games.
Who are your sports role models and what have you learned from them?
I don’t have a sports role model, but I feel like my friends. They play badminton and I feel like they inspired me to play as well.
Do you practice everyday?
It depends, if the coach is available then we practice.
Do you have any strategies?
Sometimes, I need to hit hard and then slow to confuse my opponents.
Are you nervous before the game or during the game? Why or why not?
I am nervous before and during because I don’t know what’s going to happen and after I know what happened and I can learn from my mistakes.
