The Brooklyn Borough President, Antonio Reynoso, spoke to the senior class of Leaders High School in the library on April 8th about his background.
He did this by sharing to everyone about his childhood and what it is like to grow up in a family that did not have a lot of money. He also shared how he could not stand seeing people around him struggling or looking for help. He frequently mentioned how he enjoys helping others no matter what it is.
One point that he brought up was how important it was to help people within the community. He mentioned how a part of his job as the borough president he would make sure that garbage was being recycled properly so our community can stay clean.
Something important he said was how people will always remember the good you do – no matter how big or small it is.
