This isn’t your usual Leader’s post, but as your older sisters, Lnna a junior and Maram a senior there’s a lot you may not know on what you should do to survive high school.
AVOID RELATIONSHIP DRAMA:
It’s truly never worth it and it’s always going to be a bigger issue in your head rather than the actual problem (school).
PICK FRIENDS WISELY:
It’s high school – everyone just wants something to say about everyone, it’s rare to find one who listens and stays quiet. There are good people. You just have to find the good ones, find someone who values you and also notice how they treat other people. That’ll give you an idea of what kind of person they are. Surround yourself with people who inspire you to be the best version of yourself.
RUMORS COME AND GO
Although a rumor can feel like a never ending process it genuinely becomes a joke 7 months down the line and everyone forgets about it.
MAKE AMENDS WITH TEACHERS:
A teacher likes a respectful student and will always have a soft spot for you knowing you give out respect.
NEVER MESS UP FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE YEAR:
Make sure you lock in especially Freshman and Sophomore year so Junior and Senior year can be an easy breeze and you won’t have to retake those classes as an upperclassmen. Junior and senior year will be very challenging because that’s when you start to take steps into the future. Looking at colleges and applying to them. And knowing what you want your future to look like. Those last 2 years are when you’ll be focusing on being able to write a paper and presenting. Showing your abilities to explain and back up what you learned and what you have on your paper.
