If you’re hungry, here are my top 5 ranked places to go get food on or near 86th Street.
5TH PLACE

5th place, Taco Bell. The food is bland and I don’t really enjoy it. The employees are nice but the place isn’t to my liking. The juice dispensers are usually not working, and I just don’t like the place. Compared to all the other stores on this list, Taco Bell is just inferior. This could just be an issue with this location, I’m sure other Taco Bells are better.
4TH PLACE

4th place, Popeyes. It is a great spot to eat, it’s kind of clean, relatively cheap, and employees get your order quickly. Also, there are many places to sit, and it isn’t crowded most of the time. The food is also pretty good, I usually get a spicy chicken sandwich, and have no problem with the taste. The reason it is 5th place is due to the fact that in many other food places such as McDonalds, the drinks only cost $1. Sadly, Popeyes drinks cost $3, and sometimes the food could be dry so I feel like it’s necessary to have a drink.
3RD PLACE

3rd place, Chikurin Sushi. I really like sushi, and this restaurant makes me feel like it was worth it every time. It’s really clean, nice staff, the waiting time on your order is a little lengthy although I feel like it’s worth the wait. There is a large menu with many different types of sushi and drinks, sushi including caviar, and drinks ranging from apple juice to beer. There are a lot of comfortable seating and also an outside piece. The reason it’s 3rd place is because it’s kind of a small business and I feel like Popeyes & Chikurin tie for 3rd place. Overall this is a great place to eat.
2ND PLACE

2nd place, McDonalds. Many people enjoy it but sometimes the staff forgets my order and it could take a while, other than that the staff are really friendly and they get your order quickly. Also the price is incredible, you could get a burger for only $2! You get a bang for your buck. The reason McDonalds isn’t higher up is because it isn’t that clean, and there are always children running around and yelling. After school, it’s really crowded, but overall it’s a nice place to get food. (24th avenue)
1ST PLACE
1st place, Subway. It’s self explanatory, it’s a really small spot but the sandwiches you get are amazing. It’s clean but there is nowhere to sit. The staff is really nice, quickly getting your order within 2 minutes. It’s a little expensive but I feel like it’s worth it. The wide selection of sandwiches you can get are great, you can customize them, getting whatever toppings you want. The food is also very high quality.
